Bring me apples and I can do anything with them! When I’m in the kitchen, I know I have to do a little thinking about the ways that I will mix the flavors. I try, I fail, and try again. Endless procedure until I am satisfied.

This Vegan Apple Pie recipe is an Upside version and can satisfy any Apple cake lovers. It’s Vegan, not so sweet, and low in calories. Choose crunchy apples and preferably mix reds and green for a twisted taste.

If you are a Vegetarian you can replace recipe cake with make any vanilla cake.

How to make Vegan Apple pie recipe – Step by Step

APPLE PREPARATION

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 356 Fahrenheit.

Step 2: Cut the apple into slices. Add the butter to the bottom of a pan and add the apple slices.

Step 3: Sprinkle them with 1 tbsp of cinnamon, 2 tbsp shredded ginger, 1 tbsp of orange peel, and 6 Tbsp of brown sugar. Bake them until soft (around 15 minutes).

Step 4: Remove them from the oven and keep them aside to cool.

PASTRY PREPARATION

Step 5: Preheat again your oven to 356 Fahrenheit.

Step 6: Combine the almond milk, sunflower oil, water, vinegar, vanilla, soda, salt & sugar together in a bowl and mix well.

Step 7: Add the flour, baking powder, and cinnamon and mix well. If it’s too thick or too thin just add a little more water accordingly.

ASSEMBLY

Step 8:Add the pastry raw mix on the top of the cooked apples and bake for around 40 minutes. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 20 minutes.

Step 9: Put a plate on the top and turn it upside down.

  • Ingredient selection matters. Don’t make any substitutions unless you are sure they are going to be 100% equivalent in function.
  • Whisking, measuring, and mixing are very important for consistent results in pastry production.
  • Allow time for your oven to preheat—it can take 20 minutes or more, depending on the oven. Always use an oven thermometer.

  • 6 Apples in big size
  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon
  • 6 Tbsp sugar brown
  • 2 tbsp ginger grinded
  • 1 tbsp orange peel
  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2/3 cup Almond Milk
  • 1/2 cup Sunflower oil
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/5 cup water
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp Apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • 3/4 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp soda
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon powdered
